After two weeks in Orlando over Christmas, then 10 days down in Jupiter, we spent the last two weeks back in Orlando but stayed close to Disney with my parents. It wasn't the ideal location for us but it turned out to be lots of fun. We even made it to Disney World thanks to a good friend of Erik's.
I basically spent the last two weeks trying to spend as much time with friends and family, as well as buy as much possible to bring back with me. Alison starts school this August so we won't have the luxury of spending five weeks back in Florida. Their longest school break is 4 weeks in the summer and honestly Florida in the summer just isn't all that appealing, especially when it is the most beautiful time of year here in Switzerland.

| The kids got to see 'Mater |
Some of the highlights of our last two weeks included a day trip to Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom. My mom and and I took both kids first to Hollywood Studios, then we were staying close enough to drop Miles off at the condo with Grampa and head back with Alison to the Magic Kingdom. It was exhausting and overwhelming to say the least. I told my mom I thought Alison's head looked like it was going to explode - talk about sensory overload. But she did great and made it through the fireworks display at the end. She was asleep on the 10 minute drive home.

| Gatorland |
We went to Sea World with the Carraways, which is a bit of an annual tradition by now. We went to Blue Springs to see the manatees with Nanny Carla and had lunch at the Olive Garden. We went to Gatorland with the Heberlings (again an annual tradition) and this time got to also visit with Lisa and Easton. And true to form our day at Gatorland was the coldest day of our visit, just like last year.
I spent some quality time with lots of my girlfriends but it's never enough. I hope we get to see some of them when we are in North Carolina in October. I ate lots of delicious food, stuff you just can't get in Switzerland.
We spent a weekend back with the Warm's and attended an early morning run of Hanna and Caydy's and a day trip to the Brevard Zoo. We visited with my Meemaw and Papa (my grandmother and the kids great grandmother). We spent our last day in Orlando at the Tampa Aquarium with everyone. It was lots of fun before hopping on the plane.
It is always hard to say goodbye. It's such a mix bag of emotions as we really love it here in Switzerland but really miss our family and friends back home. Until next time. Come visit us.
